Rain sensor not working in position one. In positon one wipers are working like interwall all the time

The following information reached us:
A blind diagnosis isn't easy.
The DTC 9090 means that the Rain Sensor doesn't communicate. This DTC can be caused by a faulty CAN Bus, a defective Rain Sensor or a fault in the wiring of the sensor.
As it seems there are often problems with the Rain Sensor of the W 211. It is possible that the sensor isn't calibrated correctly (tinted windows, depending on trim line). In some cases, only the replacement was the solution.

- DTC: 9090 (B1090 / Overhead Control Panel [DBE])
